In
1982 Joe Musacchio left Syracuse, New York and came to Texas with a family recipe
for authentic Italian sausage and a dream of making a business for himself
and his family. Growing up managing Basilio’s Sausage Company (THE
ORIGINAL
FAMILY BUSINESS) gave
Joe
first hand experience at making high quality sausage products. However, Texas
didn't have a large market for the type of Italian
style food that Joe brought with him from New York. That market had to be created.
Joe, founder and owner of Syracuse's
Italian Sausage Company, began building
his business from the ground up.

USDA Inspected
Everything
in our Products Catalog is
produced in our own USDA inspected facility in Ponder, Texas. Working daily
with the USDA
as
well as other outside inspection
agencies, we've designed and implemented a quality assurance
program designed to excede the needs of our customers. Syracuse’s quality
assurance program also includes a yearly review by the American
Institute
of Baking Agency (AIB). In 2001 and
in previous years, Syracuse has received the AIB’s highest ranking of "Superior".
